About Lakeville, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Lakeville is a small Indiana town located in Union Township within St. Joseph County. This community is part of the South Bend – Mishawaka Metro Statistical Area and is home to about 800 people. This area was originally settled in 1836 and was incorporated in 1902. Lakeville is located approximately 12 miles south of South Bend, 100 miles east of Chicago, and 137 miles north of Indianapolis.

Lakeville is a small community, and although there are several churches found here, there are very few attractions. Maple Ridge Campground is a great place for outdoor enthusiasts to spend a weekend in the warmer summer months, and it is located quite close to the Potato Creek State Park in North Liberty. Other attractions are located a short drive away in South Bend, including the South Bend Museum of Art, the Studebaker National Museum, and the Potawatomi Zoo.

The Town of Lakeville is situated within a humid continental climate zone, meaning that residents will experience a variety of weather conditions throughout the year. This will require that they use both home cooling and heating systems beginning with their furnace during the winter months. High temperatures tend to only stay in the 30s, although overnight lows will fall to the 20s or even colder. These home heating systems will keep residents safe while ensuring that pipes and plumbing do not freeze when outdoor conditions become dangerously cold.

Summer weather in Lakeville is hot, with average highs in July reaching the mid-80s. High humidity can also make the area feel even warmer, so a reliable air conditioning system is needed to stay cool. By scheduling periodic maintenance with an HVAC professional, residents can also ensure that their systems are keeping indoor air pure by removing dust and allergens. These systems are especially beneficial for people with asthma and other respiratory conditions.
