About Granger, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Granger is a small community found in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and it is found in portions of Harris and Clay Townships. As of 2010, this community was home to about 30,500 residents. The public schools in the community are maintained by the South Bend Community School Corporation and the Penn-Harris-Madison School Corporation. A campus of Ross Medication Education Center is also found in this community, and just under 400 students attend courses here. Notable residents of Granger have included NFL player Braxston Cave and former MLB player and Chicago White Sox announcer Ken Harrelson.

There are several notable attractions located in and around the Granger area. Adults who are looking for a night out may like to visit the Laugh Comedy Club or the Overtime Sports Bar and Grill. The Juday Creek Golf Course is a great place to play a round of golf, while the South Bend/Elkhart North KOA is a popular destination for camping enthusiasts. There are also a variety of unique places to shop in the area, including the Granger Farmers Market, Flourish Boutique and Gallery, Exploration Toys, Steam Couture, and Spin Zone Cycling Outfitters.

When living in Granger and the surrounding areas, both home cooling and heating systems will be utilized during the year. This is because the weather conditions are extremely varied, as is typical with a humid continental climate zone. Summers are humid with high temperatures, and on the average July afternoon, average highs can reach the mid-80s or even higher. Air conditioning units are imperative in fending off heat-related illnesses, especially among people living with chronic illnesses, the elderly, and children. In the winter months, weather conditions are snowy and cold, and by having an energy efficient furnace that is serviced periodically, residents can stay warm while also enjoying low utility costs throughout the season.
