About North Liberty, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

North Liberty is a small town found in Liberty Township within St. Joseph County. It is home to approximately 1,900 residents and is situated within the South Bend – Mishawaka Metro Statistical Area. This town is also small geographically, consisting of less than one square mile of total area, all of which is land. North Liberty is found approximately 15 miles southwest of South Bend, and it is also only about 87 miles from Chicago, IL.

Despite the small size of North Liberty, there are a few notable attractions located here. One of the most popular is Potato Creek State Park, which offers camping and a variety of other outdoor recreational opportunities.  Art-Tiques on the Creek offers antiques and other artistic finds, and other shops include the Dollar General Store and Andy’s of North Liberty Greenhouse and Gifts. Tangles Salon and Ted’s Barber Ship are also both located in the community to help residents to get a new look.

Winter weather in North Liberty tends to be snowy and cold, both of which tend to be characteristics of the area’s humid continental climate zone. It is common for temperatures to fail to surpass the freezing point during January, and overnight lows will fall even further. It is important that residents stay safe by keeping home furnace or heat pumps serviced properly. The autumn months are the perfect time to ensure that units are working at optimal level to keep energy costs low and to correct minor problems before they can become major issues.

The autumn and spring months are mild, but the summer is hot and muggy. July temperatures tend to reach the 80s, and this can be a dangerous time for certain populations, such as children and the elderly. A reliable central air conditioning unit can keep residents and visitors safe while also improving indoor air quality.
