Remodel & New Construction Plumbing in South Bend & Michiana
Building a new home or tackling a major renovation? Plumbing is one of the first trades in and one of the last — and it has to be done right both times. Goff’s licensed plumbers partner with homeowners and general contractors throughout South Bend, Mishawaka, Granger, Elkhart, Bristol, Goshen, Middlebury, New Carlisle, Walkerton, and Bremen to deliver reliable rough-in and finish plumbing on schedule.
Residential New Construction
We handle complete plumbing system installation for new homes — from the underground rough-in and supply lines to water heater installation, fixture trim-out, and final inspection. We’re familiar with local building codes in St. Joseph, Elkhart, Marshall, and Kosciusko counties and ensure every installation passes inspection the first time.
Kitchen & Bathroom Remodels
Remodeling a kitchen or bathroom almost always involves moving plumbing. Whether you’re repositioning a sink, adding a bathroom, or building out an unfinished space, we handle all supply and drain work to match your new layout — coordinating with your general contractor or working directly with you.
Basement Finishing
Finishing a basement often means adding a bathroom, wet bar, or laundry room. We handle rough-in, ejector pump installation (when needed), and all fixture connections. We also know what inspectors look for in basement plumbing and build it to pass the first time.
Additions
Home additions require extending existing supply and drain lines to serve new bathrooms, kitchens, or utility areas. We design the plumbing layout to integrate with your existing system without compromising flow or pressure throughout the home.
Working With Contractors
Goff is used to working on job sites. We show up when we’re scheduled, communicate about milestones, and don’t hold up other trades. If you’re a general contractor looking for a reliable plumbing sub in the Michiana area, call us.
Remodel Plumbing FAQs
Q: Do you work with general contractors or only homeowners?
A: Both. We work with homeowners managing their own projects and as a plumbing subcontractor under general contractors. Either way, we show up on schedule and perform to code.
Q: When does the plumber need to be on site during a remodel?
A: For a remodel, typically twice: once for rough-in (before drywall) and once for trim-out (after drywall, to install fixtures). Inspections may be required between stages depending on the scope.
Q: Do you pull permits?
A: Yes. We pull all required plumbing permits and arrange inspections. Permitted work protects you when you sell the home.
